So, before we mix up the tater salad and throw the burgers on the grill, let's be sure to say a prayer for and thank the veterans we come in contact with.
I made this shaker card using my Cricut Explore. I did a design search for 'star cards' and selected this one. I then turned the stars into shakers by filling them with glitter and beads. The red and blue background was made by dragging my ink pad across the card. Another super simple card!
Enjoy your weekend and I'll be back with another video after the holiday weekend. :)
THANK YOU TO OUR VETERANS!!!!! <3
The ink pad dragging makes for a great background. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove that background! I'm going to have to give that a try after seeing your card. The shaker stars are a great touch and I really like the way you combined the two sentiments for this card on the banner and accented it with stitching and the ribbons.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anything but a round shaker card. This is great. Beautiful glitter and beads. I loved that you said before we mix up the tater salad to remember and pray.

ReplyDeleteLove the star shakers - I don't make many shakers because they usually are too dimensional - but you've worked it out - make them small!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shaker card!
ReplyDeleteCool background and the those wee little shaker stars, each a different color = awesome !
